Following the restructuring, merger, and establishment of new facilities, the Provincial Cultural and Sports Center quickly stabilized its organizational structure and maintained uninterrupted operations. In particular, the organization of artistic performances was implemented with many new features, strengthening coordination between specialized departments, focusing and mobilizing maximum resources to better serve the province's political tasks.

The Provincial Cultural and Sports Center was established by merging four public service units: the Provincial Museum and Library; the Provincial Music and Dance Theatre; the Provincial Cultural and Film Center; and the Sports Training and Competition Center under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The unit currently has seven specialized departments, with the Music and Dance Theatre and the Propaganda and Event Organization departments playing a direct role in organizing artistic performances.

Artist Lo Duc Thinh, Head of the Music and Dance Theater Department, shared: Along with strengthening innovation and improving the quality of professional performing arts works, the Department actively coordinates with specialized departments to develop art programs to serve major events and anniversaries of the country and the province. At the same time, it coordinates the organization of performances and propaganda at the grassroots level. This includes increasing the duration of professional artistic performances, bringing audiences high-quality programs with high artistic value, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.

The art program "Proud of the Glorious Party" celebrates the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Since the beginning of the year, the Center has revised and enhanced 54 musical and dance works for use in thematic art programs and to supplement programs serving political tasks; organized 10 performances serving the province's political tasks and domestic and foreign affairs, serving over 32,000 viewers. The Center has completed the plan for surveying locations and organizing a series of professional art performances; mobile film screenings; and street-side propaganda and promotion to celebrate major holidays and important events in 2026 in communes and wards; striving to hold 60 performances at the grassroots level, including 45 professional art performances and 15 performances combined with visual propaganda and promotion on specific themes.

Mr. Bac Cam Phat, Head of the Propaganda and Event Organization Department, informed: With the support of professional artistic performances, the propaganda programs at the grassroots level are of higher quality, attracting the attention and support of a large number of people. Along with that, we also actively advise, research, and create in the development of scripts and plays on various themes with innovative and more attractive formats, making the propaganda programs at the grassroots level more effective and meaningful for the people.

The art program " Son La - A Song to Welcome Spring".

The seamless coordination between specialized departments ensures the harmonious and effective development of large-scale art programs. In early 2026, the Center made a strong impression with three large-scale thematic art programs: the art program "Proud of the Glorious Party" celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress; the art program "Son La - A Song of Spring"; and the art program "National Festival" celebrating the success of the 16th National Assembly election and the People's Council elections at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Mr. Le Hong Quan, Director of the Provincial Culture and Sports Center, said: Regarding performing arts activities, the unit has determined that it must strengthen coordination and mobilize resources to carry out, especially for large-scale programs. At the same time, the unit proactively develops programs, plans, and performance scripts that closely follow the province's political tasks and major national and local events; constantly innovating and improving the quality of both content and performance style, meeting the public's artistic enjoyment needs and making art a powerful and effective tool for propaganda, spreading humanistic values and meaning to the people.
