It has become a routine, a habit, for officers and soldiers of Battalion 1, Regiment 754 to go to the library to read books and newspapers after each training session or on weekends. The books and newspapers here are arranged neatly, systematically, and scientifically, making them easy to search by category. Soldier To Anh Bao Trung, Battalion 1, Regiment 754, shared: "The library has a diverse range of books and newspapers, but I like reading books on technology, military affairs , and life skills. Reading these kinds of books helps me gain more knowledge to apply effectively to my work, resolve relationships within the unit well, and behave according to cultural standards. Whenever I find a good book, I always share it with my comrades so we can learn and discover new and interesting things together. From there, I gain more confidence and motivation to strive to study and train to grow in the military environment."

In reality, the reading movement has always received enthusiastic support and attention from officers and soldiers. At the training ground, there is always a "Training Ground Newsbox" directly managed by the platoon leader, with books and newspapers changed daily and assigned to soldiers to bring along during training. Thanks to this, all officers and soldiers can read books and newspapers right on the training ground during their breaks.

Captain Hờ A Súa, Political Officer of Battalion 1, Regiment 754, reported: The unit maintains a regular reading schedule during breaks and on weekends; themed book introductions and collective reading activities are integrated into political and Youth Union activities, creating a lively and friendly atmosphere. Furthermore, the unit always links reading with traditional education, raising political awareness and developing the character of the soldiers.

The book collection is regularly supplemented and circulated, with a wide variety of genres, focusing on political theory, Party history, military history, unit traditions, law, life skills, science , technology, and reference books to support training and combat readiness, meeting the reading, learning, and research needs of each individual in the unit. Annually, the Provincial Military Command Library staff collaborates in organizing book promotion and introduction sessions at subordinate units; and coordinates activities commemorating Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21st), creating appeal and spreading a widespread reading culture throughout the unit.

Lieutenant Colonel Khuc Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Head of Political Affairs, Provincial Military Command, stated: "In the current information explosion, promoting a reading culture helps soldiers improve their ability to identify and filter information, avoiding harmful and toxic content and false narratives. Reading official books and newspapers helps officers and soldiers strengthen their faith, resolve, and maintain their ideological stance. Many comrades have boldly shared their personal thoughts and opinions, proactively connecting the content of books with their studies, training, and assigned tasks. This contributes to improving the quality of political activities and creating a positive and healthy learning environment in the units."

At the same time, they ensure information security and enhance the ability to select and receive accurate knowledge in the online environment.

Through practical and effective methods, reading culture is gradually spreading widely, becoming a reliable companion for officers and soldiers on their path of training and dedication, contributing to creating cohesion, improving cultural and spiritual life, and providing additional motivation for officers and soldiers to strive, train, and resolutely complete all assigned tasks.
