On the evening of June 6th, the Facebook fanpage of the "Nuoi Em" project released a lengthy announcement regarding the recent controversies, marking the latest development since the post in December 2025.
Accordingly, the project team stated that on April 24th, "Nuoi Em" received notification of the inspection results from the authorities, concluding that the project showed no signs of criminal violations and no evidence of any individual using project funds for personal gain.
"Although the legal conclusion affirms that there was no embezzlement or self-serving behavior, I - Hoang Hoa Trung (the project manager) - and the management team deeply understand that: not violating the law does not mean that 'Nuoi Em' has done well. The shortcomings in the management and operation of 'Nuoi Em' over the past period have hurt, disappointed, and caused a serious crisis of trust in the community," Mr. Trung wrote in the post, while also apologizing to benefactors, partners, teachers, and local authorities.
The announcement also listed the team's shortcomings during the controversy, such as failing to clearly explain the operating mechanism, having an inappropriate communication attitude with donors, and remaining silent during the crisis.
In addition, the team admitted to errors in information management and financial transparency (operating using personal accounts, not applying professional financial management standards, etc.); and also used manual software, causing errors in the code issuance process.

Notably, the management board stated that it will implement a series of restructuring actions starting in June 2026 to "fundamentally address shortcomings and protect the educational opportunities of children in mountainous regions."
Specifically, "Nuoi Em" will comprehensively change the legal model and financial standards; digitize the information management and operational systems; standardize human resource capabilities and communication channels; and expand the pool of experts and professional networks.
At the end of the announcement, the project also publicly released summary data on the adoption situation for the 2025-2026 school year and a financial report (from June 1, 2025 to June 31, 2026).
"The project management team sincerely welcomes all feedback, criticism, and oversight from the community to gradually improve 'Nurture Children' in a more transparent, professional, and sustainable direction. 'Nurture Children' is committed to prioritizing the interests of the children and responsibility to the community above personal opinions or emotions, and will strive to make changes through concrete actions in the future," the post stated.
Earlier in late April, when the Investigation Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security issued a decision not to prosecute the criminal case related to the "Nuoi Em" project, Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung also told Tri Thuc - Znews that during that time, he and his colleagues remained silent despite the chaotic information circulating in order to focus on the investigation by the authorities.
The "Feeding Children" program's activities have continued as normal since the beginning of 2026 to ensure meals for children in mountainous areas. At times, the number of children supported has reached over 84,000.
"Over the past period, the children have been eating normally. Until last week, we were still sending money according to schedule," Mr. Trung said at the end of April.
