Historical and cultural relics associated with intangible cultural heritage are the highlight of cultural and spiritual tourism tours, especially during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week, which attract a large number of tourists to the land of origin. Phu Tho has launched a tour called "Returning to UNESCO-listed Heritage Sites," using Hung Temple as the main starting point to visit other scenic spots in the province. For a one-day tour, visitors have two options: Hung Temple - Lai Len Shrine - Hung Lo Ancient Village or Hung Temple - Lai Len Shrine. For a two-day, one-night tour: Hung Temple - Hung Lo Ancient Communal House - Tam Giang Temple - Long Coc Tea Hill - Wyndham Thanh Thuy Resort; for a three-day, two-night tour: Hung Temple - Long Coc Tea Hill - Xuan Son National Park. In addition, Phu Tho's tourism industry continues to implement the cooperation program for tourism development between the eight expanded Northwestern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, creating more attractive tourist routes to attract visitors to the ancestral land.

The celebratory part of the Hung Kings Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week in the Year of the Dragon 2024 will be organized with many rich activities, attracting tourists to Phu Tho such as: an art program with the theme "Convergence of the Nation" and high-altitude fireworks; a cultural camp and exhibition, promotion and introduction of products; a folk art and Phu Tho folk song festival; exhibition of artifacts, world documentary heritage, books, newspapers, and photographic documents; a competition for wrapping and cooking banh chung (traditional rice cakes) and pounding banh giay (traditional rice cakes); performance of Xoan singing from ancient villages; the Viet Tri City Open Rowing Race; an art exhibition with the theme "Homeland, Country, and People of Phu Tho"; a trade fair and exhibition of Phu Tho OCOP products; sports activities, traditional folk games; the Xoan Festival - Heritage Region art program; the opening of the Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024 "Returning to the Source"; The inauguration included a bas-relief depicting President Ho Chi Minh speaking with officers and soldiers of the Vanguard Army; and an art program featuring folk songs and several other recognized intangible cultural heritage forms...

According to data from the Tourism Management Department of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the province currently has 376 accommodation establishments, with nearly 140 in Viet Tri City. During this year's Hung Kings Commemoration Day, many hotels and guesthouses have committed to not increasing prices, publicly displaying price lists at the reception desk and on their websites, and promoting them on social media. Besides the activities during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival and the Hung Temple Culture and Tourism Week, the Hung Temple Spirituality Marathon 2024 "Returning to the Roots" attracted nearly 6,000 domestic and international athletes, most of whom needed accommodation. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has promptly issued a document requesting accommodation establishments to upgrade their facilities and environmental landscape, enhance training in skills and professional expertise for their room management and service staff to improve service quality and create the best conditions for locals and tourists. The proactive approach of the establishments will create a positive impression, presenting visitors with the image of the friendly and hospitable people of Phu Tho.

According to Phung Thi Hoa Le, Head of the Tourism Management Department of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Leveraging advantages to develop unique and competitive tourism products such as cultural and spiritual tourism, resort tourism, community tourism, ecotourism, and educational tourism, with several tours and routes already effectively exploited, attracting many tourists to the roots of the nation. In the first quarter of 2024, the number of visitors to Phu Tho increased compared to the same period last year. The total number of overnight tourists reached over 206,000, including over 2,300 international tourists, generating a total tourism revenue of 798 billion VND.
