On the evening of April 25th, the home team Dong A Thanh Hoa entered a crucial match in the relegation battle when they hosted PVF-People's Police in Round 20 of the LPBank V.League 1-2025/2026 National Football Championship.

In the second half, Nam Dinh continued to maintain pressure with more shots on goal, but it wasn't until the 67th minute, from a free kick about 25 meters from the goal, that substitute Giap Tuan Duong unleashed a powerful shot, leveling the score at 1-1. Nam Dinh then had further opportunities, including a goal by Xuan Son in the 77th minute that was disallowed by VAR for offside.

The final minutes were exciting with both sides attacking, but neither managed to capitalize on their opportunities. With this result, Becamex Ho Chi Minh City temporarily sits in 11th place, while Thep Xanh Nam Dinh is in 6th place in the standings.
