"Big Brother Eagle" conquers the challenge at Military Zone 5 stadium.

For the rematch, both Danang Dragons and Ho Chi Minh City Wings saw changes to their starting lineups. For the home team, forward Son Minh Tam was promoted to replace Mai Phuoc Thinh. On the visiting team's side, young guard Dinh Quang Duong started in place of star player Tran Dang Khoa, who was injured in the previous game.

In the first quarter, the home team's shooters proactively applied intense defensive pressure. Besides effectively defending the basket, the offense of the "Han River Dragons" was also successful thanks to the energetic performance of foreign player Damione Thomas. Despite being outplayed, after just one timeout, coach Le Tran Minh Nghia adjusted the team's formation and kept the home team under control with a 14-18 lead.

The second half saw a shift in momentum. The "Big Brother Eagles" gradually adapted to the home team's defensive pressure. In the 4th minute, Da Nang 's slender lead was leveled after Tran Quang Duy stole the ball and scored. Having just reversed the deficit to 23-22, the key players of Ho Chi Minh City quickly established a 7-point lead, 33-26.

In the third quarter, after the break, the Da Nang team increased the tempo in an attempt to catch up with the visiting team's shooters. This strong effort at times brought the "Han River Dragons" close to a one-point lead. Under intense pressure from the Da Nang team, despite always finding ways to respond, the Ho Chi Minh City team's advantage eroded, ending with a 4-point lead of 52-48.

In the opening minutes of the final quarter, Tsenguun Munkh-Ochir successfully made two three-pointers. This "dopamine boost" from the Mongolian player gave the visiting team a psychological and scoring advantage. For the remainder of the quarter, Nguyen Toan Anh and his teammates continued their efforts to catch up. Full of fighting spirit, but time was running out, leading to the "Han River Dragons" suffering their second consecutive defeat against the "Big Brother Eagles" with a score of 66-75.

Danang Dragons fought hard until the very last minute.

Tsenguun Munkh-Ochir, the leading scorer for Ho Chi Minh City Wings, was named Player of the Game with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. “This was only my second game in the VBA, and this title makes me very happy and excited. Tonight, the home team created many unpredictable situations. However, we were well-prepared to deal with each scenario,” Tsenguun Munkh-Ochir shared.

In this game, the Danang Dragons started proactively and played better than in their first encounter with the Ho Chi Minh City Wings. However, the "Dragons of the Han River" needed more players to create an upset. On the visitors' side, the "Big Brother Eagles" continued to rebuild the fans' confidence. Accordingly, Coach Le Tran Minh Nghia's team played unitedly and confidently despite missing two important players, Tran Dang Khoa and Nicholas Minh-Anh Courtney.
