A prominent highlight in attracting investment in Yen Chau commune is the factory producing and processing various types of shoes and sandals in Phieng Nghe sub-area, Yen Chau commune, invested and built by Yen Chau Shoe Joint Stock Company on an area of 2.3 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 50 billion VND. The project is implemented in two phases: Phase 1 (2025-2026) includes the administrative building, guesthouse; kitchen, canteen; warehouse; production workshop No. 1; yard, gate, fence, internal roads and other auxiliary facilities; Phase 2 (2028-2030), includes production workshop No. 2 and production workshop No. 3. Phase 1 has been completed and put into operation since September 2025, with a production line comprising a complex of 300 modern machines and equipment. The first batch of products was shipped in September 2025, joining the global production supply chain.
Mr. Pham Quang Thang, Director of Yen Chau Footwear Joint Stock Company, said: "During the project implementation, the company has always received active attention and support from the province and local authorities, especially in land clearance and completion of investment procedures. Thanks to this, the project has been implemented on schedule and is now operational. Currently, the factory has created stable jobs for 680 local workers, with an average salary of 7-8 million VND per month, contributing to job creation and increased income for people in the area."

The operation of the shoe and sandal manufacturing and processing factory has created job opportunities right in the locality, contributing to a change in production mindset and promoting the shift of the labor structure from agriculture to industry and services. Ms. Vi Thi Thiem, from Kha village, a worker at the shoe factory, shared: "Previously, I had to work as a hired laborer in distant provinces. Although the income was high, after deducting rent and living expenses, life was still difficult. Since the shoe factory started operating, I have been hired with a stable income and work near home, so I can take better care of my family. We hope that in the future, more projects will be implemented so that local people will have more job opportunities and a stable life."
Currently, several key projects are being implemented in Yen Chau commune, such as: the Yen Chau New Urban Area Investment Project, covering approximately 11.8 hectares; the Urban Renovation Project in Sub-district 1... In particular, the Sub-district 1 Commercial Housing Project, comprising 7 terraced houses with a total investment of approximately 13.6 billion VND, commenced in August 2025 and has now reached 60% completion.

Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Chau commune, said: Identifying attracting investment as one of the key tasks, the locality has proactively reviewed planning, improved the investment environment, and created the most favorable conditions for businesses. The commune has coordinated with the Provincial Project Management Board for Civil Construction and Urban Development to implement land clearance, disseminate information, and mobilize people to agree and hand over the land on schedule.
In addition, the local authorities are strengthening support for investors in completing procedures, creating favorable conditions in terms of infrastructure and security to ensure the effective implementation of projects. When the projects are completed and put into use, they will contribute to the completion of the urban infrastructure system, creating a modern and attractive appearance, while promoting socio -economic development and improving the lives of people in the area.
From the Yen Chau Shoe Factory to the emerging urban projects, everything is gradually creating a new, dynamic, modern, and potentially prosperous image for the area. Yen Chau commune continues to focus on improving planning quality, reforming administrative procedures, creating a transparent and open investment environment, attracting businesses to implement projects, and contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the locality.
