Specifically, the State Bank of Vietnam listed the central exchange rate today at 25,088 VND/USD, a decrease of 10 dong compared to the morning of January 27th. With a margin of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate allowed for trading is 26,342 VND/USD, while the floor exchange rate is 23,834 VND/USD. The reference exchange rate at the Foreign Exchange Management Department (State Bank of Vietnam) this morning was 23,894 – 26,302 VND/USD (buying – selling).
At commercial banks, at 8:15 AM, Vietcombank and BIDV both listed the USD exchange rate at 25,940 - 26,300 VND/USD (buying - selling), a decrease of 52 dong in both buying and selling rates compared to yesterday morning.
Following the same trend, the Chinese Yuan (CNY) exchange rate at Vietcombank and BIDV also decreased this morning. Vietcombank reduced the rate by 9 dong in both buying and selling directions, bringing the CNY exchange rate down to 3,697 - 3,815 VND/CNY (buying - selling). At BIDV, the CNY exchange rate decreased by 14 dong in the buying direction and 15 dong in the selling direction, listed at 3,698 - 3,816 VND/CNY (buying - selling).
