Dragon Ball DAIMA episode 19: Betrayal

Content of the previous Dragon Ball DAIMA episode

Episode 18 of Dragon Ball Daima opens with a fierce battle between Goku and Gomah in their Super Saiyan 3 forms. However, the appearance of Duu and Tamagami Number One (One) intensifies the fight. While Kuu is away, Goku throws Duu a chocolate cookie. Duu eats it and feels energized.

Seeing Goku's power increasing, Duu imitated him. Together, they fought Gomah. However, midway through the battle, Duu became exhausted and was knocked away by Gomah. One and Goku continued fighting, but Gomah unleashed a burst of energy to separate them. Gomah overwhelmed Goku and began creating a massive energy sphere.

Just when things were critical, Neva appeared and transferred energy to Goku. Goku transformed and repelled Gomah's energy ball. However, Gomah quickly dodged and continued the fight. At this point, Goku had transformed into a new form, a combination of his Super Saiyan 4 and Gogeta from Dragon Ball GT.

Gomah and Goku continued their fierce battle, while Glorio, Piccolo, Shin, Duu, and One provided support from afar. Goku used Kamehameha to attack Gomah, then lunged towards where Gomah's body was hiding. However, Gomah emerged from the rubble, larger and stronger than ever.

Gomah uses the power of the Oculus to trap Goku in an energy sphere and strip him of his powers, reverting him to his base form. Meanwhile, Arinsu contacts Glorio and asks him to bring her the Dragon Balls. When Glorio delivers, Arinsu reveals that she wants to summon Porunga to become the supreme Demon Queen.

Arinsu declares she will destroy Gomah after her wish is granted. She also reveals that she secretly asked Glorio to learn the Namekian language solely for this plan. When Glorio summons Porunga and begins reciting the wish in Namekian, our heroes believe he has betrayed them. The episode concludes with Porunga granting Glorio's wish, leaving many unanswered questions about the group's future.

Predicting the content of Dragon Ball DAIMA episode 19

Episode 19 of Dragon Ball Daima is titled "The Betrayal," but who the betrayer is remains a mystery. Ending with episode 18 showing Porunga of the Demon World being summoned and Glorio making a wish, we'll soon learn his decision. The title seems to suggest Glorio betrayed Goku and his friends, but it could also be the other way around – he betrayed Arinsu and remained loyal to Goku. Whatever the case, Glorio's wish will undoubtedly shape the rest of the story, for better or worse.

Gomah is still as strong as ever, despite the injuries he sustained in the previous two episodes. Goku and his crew will need something truly impressive to win. With only two episodes left, Gomah's defeat will likely happen in the next one, regardless of how things unfold. The Join Bugs are still out there somewhere, waiting to be found – and perhaps they will be the key to victory.
