- Tourism in Ca Mau must create a unique experience for visitors.
Many programs attract tourists.
In the early days of the Lunar New Year of the Horse (Bính Ngọ), the Bac Lieu Prince's House Tourist Area (Bac Lieu Ward) welcomed many groups of visitors coming to sightsee and enjoy the spring festivities. Besides the fascinating experience of traveling back in time to learn about the famous legends of the Black Prince, visitors also immersed themselves in the colorful cultural space of the three ethnic groups: Kinh, Khmer, and Hoa. This was the first time the tourist area organized an art exchange program with performances by artists and artisans, offering visitors a spring "feast" with unique artistic performances such as: traditional Kinh folk music , instrumental music by the Hoa people, and the Chhay-dăm drum dance of the Khmer people.

For travel agencies, in addition to attracting tourists from outside the province, Vietnice Trading and Service Company Limited is also strengthening its efforts to tap into the potential domestic market. To stimulate tourism in 2026, the company has been implementing many promotional programs and discounts without compromising service quality, contributing to increased tourist numbers and tourism revenue.
The merger has opened up many opportunities for tourism businesses to develop the market; therefore, from the beginning of 2026, we have launched an active operational plan. To bring novelty to tourists, we will regularly update and change the destinations of the 2-day, 1-night Bac Lieu - Ca Mau tour along with preferential prices to increase the attraction of visitors to Ca Mau .

Create a competitive advantage through differentiation.
At the recent meeting to discuss the Ca Mau tourism development plan until 2030, with a vision to 2050, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Van Thieu, requested that the plan be finalized by March 2026. These decisive directives from the provincial leadership, along with the responsible involvement of various sectors and localities, demonstrate a strong determination to achieve sustainable development and green growth in the tourism sector.
The project aims to unify perspectives and development orientations, ensuring alignment with the potential, resources, and development space after the merger. Given its significant importance, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the development of tourism products linked to stories, anecdotes, and unique characteristics to create distinctive experiences for visitors to Ca Mau. Besides ecotourism, emphasis should be placed on developing agricultural experiential tourism and river tourism linked to traditional folk music; attention should be paid to unlocking potential, attracting investment, and creating favorable conditions for businesses to participate in building high-quality tourism products that align with current trends.
The Quan Am Buddhist Temple area (Hiep Thanh ward) welcomes a large number of pilgrims at the beginning of the year.
From decisive directives to favorable conditions, especially the investment in transportation infrastructure that connects and shortens travel distances and times for tourists, strong incentives have been created for businesses to invest in upgrading their products. In the first two months of 2026, Ca Mau tourism welcomed over 1.1 million visitors, generating over 1.1 trillion VND in service revenue. Famous cultural and ecological tourist destinations in the province, such as the Quan Am Buddhist Temple, the Bac Lieu Prince's House Tourist Area, the Ca Mau Cape Tourist Area, and the Huong Tram Ecotourism Area, continue to attract a large number of visitors and contribute significantly to the tourism industry's revenue.

In addition, service quality will be prioritized to create competitiveness; and we will do a good job of communicating and marketing products in conjunction with digital transformation to promote the image of Ca Mau tourism to domestic and international tourists.”
With proactive solutions and the combined efforts of various sectors, localities, and the business community, Ca Mau's tourism sector has had an impressive start to the Lunar New Year of the Horse, creating a vibrant atmosphere for tourism development and making a positive contribution to the province's double-digit growth target in 2026 and subsequent years.
