Tay Ninh is a land of intersection and convergence, blending the distinctive features of the riverine region with the low hills, with Mount Ba Den becoming a prominent highlight. This area is also a melting pot of diverse cultures and beliefs, creating a unique character within a harmonious and unified landscape. Currently, the province has 223 classified historical sites, including: 1 special national historical site; 49 national historical sites; 173 provincial historical sites; 16 national intangible cultural heritage sites; and 1 intangible cultural heritage site of humanity. In addition, many festivals rich in cultural identity have become valuable resources for developing community tourism, encouraging direct participation from the people, and contributing to the promotion of cultural, historical, and natural landscape values in the area.
With its advantageous location bordering Ho Chi Minh City, suburban entertainment and recreation projects, along with a system of high-quality, safe, modern, and civilized tourism services, have been effectively exploited, attracting tens of thousands of tourists each year. West Lakes Golf & Villas Long An and Royal Long An Golf & Villas are destinations that are attracting much attention. Leveraging its existing potential and advantages, Tay Ninh is developing diverse types of tourism, from sightseeing and entertainment to cultural and ecological experiences. In addition, agricultural tourism is becoming a new highlight. Models such as mulberry gardens, durian clubs, custard apple cooperatives, or rest stops associated with local specialty products (such as Tam Lan tea) offer tourists unique experiences, closely related to the production life of the people of Tay Ninh.
Digital technology applications
One of the highlights of Tay Ninh tourism is its focus on applying technology in communication, promotion, and digital technology. The application of technology to promote the image of tourism is receiving significant attention. Besides familiar platforms such as websites, fanpages, Zalo OA, and YouTube, in 2025, the province launched a TikTok channel, a 360-degree map of Binh Thanh Ancient Tower, Tay Ninh Cao Dai Holy See, etc., and also developed a 360/3D map for the Southeast region, initially receiving positive attention and feedback from tourists. Content promoting civilized tourism behavior is also integrated into QR codes and promoted on social media platforms.

Furthermore, the application of 3D electronic mapping technology at the Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area and the Central Committee Headquarters of the Southern Region National Historical Site offers visitors a novel experience. Not only does it vividly recreate historical events and cultural spaces, but 3D mapping also provides visitors with a more intuitive, realistic, and emotionally rich experience compared to traditional displays. Images combined with sound and light create a powerful visual effect, stimulating the imagination and interest of viewers. Importantly, this technology also contributes to a renewed approach to historical sites and heritage, making information more accessible to younger generations, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of tourism promotion, education, and advertising. Mr. Huynh Huy Hoang (residing in Thuan My commune) shared: “During my recent trip to the Central Committee Headquarters of the Southern Region historical site, I had the opportunity to watch a 3D mapping presentation. It was the first time I had seen this type of technology; it was both modern and vivid. Everyone was captivated.”
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the application of digital transformation helps make tourism marketing more effective, reaching a wider range of customers, and making it easier for tourists to access information and provide feedback on services. This also contributes to improving the quality of state management in the tourism sector.

Thanks to concerted efforts, Tay Ninh's tourism industry has achieved many encouraging results. According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from 2020-2024, the province attracted approximately 23.7 million visitors, generating revenue of about 9,881 billion VND. The total number of tourists in 2025 is estimated at around 7.7 million.
This growth demonstrates the increasingly improved quality of tourism in Tay Ninh, from the number of visitors and revenue to brand reputation. In particular, the seasonality of tourism, which was previously a limitation of the locality, has been overcome, replaced by a focus on developing green, sustainable, and in-depth tourism.
According to Nguyen Thanh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the coming time, the tourism industry will continue to focus on developing potential, unique, and attractive tourism products, creating a distinct identity for the locality and meeting market demands. The goal is to build the image of "Safe and attractive tourism in Tay Ninh" associated with the trend of integration, aiming for comprehensive, rapid, and sustainable development.
In addition, the province's tourism sector will focus on diversifying products and improving service quality to increase the number of visitors and tourism revenue. Tay Ninh tourism continues to play an important role in the economic restructuring process, creating favorable conditions to promote the development of other industries and sectors, thereby affirming its position as a key economic sector of the locality.
