On June 24, 78 vessels were recorded transiting the Strait of Hormuz, the highest number since conflict erupted in the region. Among these were 22 oil and chemical tankers, along with numerous cargo ships, container ships, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers.

By the end of June, the total number of ships passing through the strait had reached 551, far exceeding the previous high of 438 recorded in April. This recovery followed the commissioning of a new safe shipping corridor along the Omani coast, facilitating the gradual restoration of commercial shipping through one of the world's most important energy shipping routes.
The Strait of Hormuz is the gateway for the export of crude oil, refined fuels, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from major producing countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Iraq, and Qatar. Therefore, any fluctuations in this region have a direct impact on the global energy market.
