Filip Nguyen played for Hanoi Police Club in the second phase of V-League 2023. He immediately took over Patrik Le Giang's starting position and showed stable performance. In the final match of the season, against Thanh Hoa Club, this goalkeeper made important saves to help Hanoi Police Club get 1 point.

Filip Nguyen is confident that he will reap many things in the future with his new team. He said: " My contract with the team has 3 years left. Therefore, many things are still ahead ."

Recently, coach Philippe Troussier affirmed that Filip Nguyen will be a quality addition to the Vietnam team. However, he is in the process of naturalization. Regarding this, Filip Nguyen shared: " Of course I am trying to have the opportunity to wear the Vietnam team shirt, but right now I want to enjoy the joy of winning the championship with the Hanoi Police Club, and then think about the future ."

In the final match of the season, Filip Nguyen and his teammates faced Thanh Hoa Club. Hanoi Police Club took the lead in the first half but were equalized in the second half. However, one point in this match was enough for the police team to win the 2023 V-League championship.
