The tech site previously published an exclusive CAD-based render of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge, which surprisingly turned out to be exactly what Samsung later announced.

This time, Android Headlines brings you a CAD-based render of the Galaxy S26 Pro, to introduce you to the most basic model in Samsung's flagship line.

Shape aside, you'll notice that Samsung is changing the name of the device. The Samsung Galaxy S25 will be replaced by the Galaxy S26 Pro. For some reason, Samsung decided to stick with the "Pro" moniker. Note that the "Plus" version has also been dropped, replaced by the Galaxy S26 Edge.

There are three renders in the gallery, giving people a closer look at the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro thanks to the CAD-based renders.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro will look a lot like the Galaxy S25. There will be one notable difference that will help you easily differentiate the two devices, which is the camera cluster on the back. Although both models have three cameras arranged vertically, the camera cluster looks significantly different.

The Galaxy S26 Pro's rear camera setup will look a little different from what the Galaxy S25 offers. The three cameras on the Galaxy S26 Pro are housed in a pill-shaped camera module. The camera on the Galaxy S25 sticks out from the back. Furthermore, the camera lens itself looks significantly different in comparison.

Otherwise, the two phones are very, very similar. They both have a camera hole in the center of the screen, which is quite small. The screen bezels are thin and uniform.

The Galaxy S26 Pro has all the physical buttons on the right side, just like its predecessor. The power/lock key is located below the volume rocker. The majority of the frame is flat, but curves slightly towards the edges for a comfortable feel when holding.

The corners of the device are rounded, while the back is flat, like the phone's screen. The Galaxy S26 Pro will be finished in aluminum and glass, just like the Galaxy S25.

Slightly larger screen

Android Headlines also confirms that the Galaxy S26 Pro's display will be around 6.3 inches. As for the phone's dimensions? The Galaxy S26 Pro will measure around 149.3 x 71.4 x 6.96mm (10.23mm including the rear camera bump).

It will be taller, wider, and thinner than the Galaxy S25. Why? Its screen will be slightly larger, which obviously affects the size of the device. Again, these are just estimates based on CAD drawings, the final product may be slightly different.

That's basically all we can confirm at this point, but some additional details have surfaced thanks to rumors, so it's a good starting point to get an idea of what to expect from the flagship.

The Galaxy S26 will likely use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, also known as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. It will likely have the "made for Galaxy" added to the name and will be overclocked. It's possible that Samsung's Exynos chip will also be used in some markets, but that's not clear yet.

16GB RAM and 4,300mAh battery

The phone is rumored to have 16GB of RAM, a bump that's largely driven by AI applications. Again, the Galaxy S25 comes with 12GB of RAM, so if true, it'll be a worthwhile upgrade over the base Galaxy S26.

What about the battery? If the rumors are true, it will get a battery upgrade. Samsung is aiming for a 4,300mAh battery, compared to the 4,000mAh battery in the Galaxy S25. Unfortunately, Samsung has no plans to use silicon-carbon batteries yet.

The entire Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup will be built with magnets. Samsung is following in the footsteps of Apple and Google and will support Qi2-certified charging using magnets. Unfortunately, this may mean that reverse wireless charging, aka Wireless PowerShare, will not be available.

There is also information that the Galaxy S26 Pro will get an upgraded ultra-wide camera. It will have a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, compared to the 12-megapixel camera of the previous generation. However, the main camera and telephoto camera are still uncertain.

The entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year, possibly January. Exclusive leaks about the Galaxy S26 series are yet to be released, with the Galaxy S26 Ultra coming next.

The premium Galaxy Tab S10 tablet series launched with many AI features.
