The newly leaked renders are CAD files, so minor details may still change, but they give us an overall look at Samsung's next-generation foldable smartphone.

According to GSMArena, the first renders of the Z Fold7 show that Samsung has finally embraced the ultra-thin design trend for foldable smartphones, similar to its Chinese competitors.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is said to be only 4.5mm thick when unfolded and 9.5mm when folded. This is believed to include the camera bump, and excluding that, the thickness would be closer to 9mm, although the exact figure has not been revealed.

Recently, Oppo launched the ultra-thin Find N5, measuring only 4.2mm thick when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded. Therefore, it's likely that the Z Fold7 will have a thickness almost identical to the Find N5, making it difficult to notice any difference when holding both devices.

Compared to its predecessor, the Z Fold7 is larger, measuring 158.4 x 143.1mm. Therefore, it's likely the phone will have a wider aspect ratio for the outer display.

Another source claims the Galaxy Z Fold7 will have an 8-inch inner foldable screen and a 6.5-inch outer screen.

It's highly likely the Z Fold7's main camera will be upgraded to a 200MP sensor, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold SE. It will be paired with a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera supporting 3x optical zoom. The selfie camera appears to remain unchanged from its predecessor, with a 4MP under-display camera on the foldable screen and a 10MP camera on the outer display.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, similar to the Galaxy S25 series.
