This year's Winter-Spring crop, the whole province planted 22,625 hectares of Winter-Spring rice. To date, more than 21,000 hectares have been harvested, reaching about 93% of the total cultivated area.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3 and post-storm circulation, nearly 1,500 hectares of Summer-Autumn rice (accounting for nearly 8% of the total area) were completely lost, concentrated in the districts of Doan Hung (236 hectares), Ha Hoa (865.7 hectares), Cam Khe (79.2 hectares), Yen Lap (241.7 hectares), Tan Son (45.1 hectares), Thanh Son (14.5 hectares), Lam Thao (3 hectares).

In addition to rice, the area of corn planted in the Summer-Autumn crop reached nearly 4,500 hectares, currently harvested approximately 4,300 hectares, the area lost due to storms was nearly 200 hectares, concentrated in 2 districts: Ha Hoa (nearly 158 hectares) and Tan Son (42 hectares). Along with corn, the area of green vegetables planted in the Summer-Autumn crop in the whole province reached over 4,400 hectares, currently harvested over 4,070 hectares, the area lost was nearly 280 hectares in 2 districts: Ha Hoa (nearly 237 hectares) and Cam Khe (nearly 43 hectares).
Currently, farmers in the whole province are focusing on harvesting the remaining Summer-Autumn crop area according to the motto "green house is better than old field", while focusing on planting Winter crop to take advantage of the number of sunny days in the year. In order for the Winter crop to achieve high production results, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has issued a document requesting the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to direct localities to guide farmers to synchronously deploy solutions to overcome damage and restore agricultural production; promote care and prevention of pests and diseases of planted Winter crops; strengthen field inspection, promptly detect and effectively prevent pests and diseases; promote planting of vegetables, avoid abandoning crops and fields...
