Working together for mutual development

With nearly 350 members and 5 affiliated clubs, the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association has become a bridge connecting, sharing experiences, and fostering collaborative development for businesses in the area.

Business engagement

"With the motto 'Connecting entrepreneurs, elevating value,' the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association has focused its activities on building a strong entrepreneurial force and contributing to the socio-economic development of the port city," shared Mr. Do Huu Huynh, Chairman of the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association.

It can be affirmed that, over its 27 years of formation and development, the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association has become a bridge connecting, sharing experiences, and fostering cooperation for businesses in the city. The Association consistently identifies strengthening trade promotion activities as a crucial factor in improving the efficiency of production and business operations, and as a bridge to promote cooperation between businesses, distributors, and consumers. In 2023, the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association signed several memoranda of cooperation with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Arab Saudi Arabia), the Chungbuk Free Economic Zone Management Board (South Korea), the Vietnamese Association in the United Kingdom, and the Vietnamese Association in Kasai (Japan), among others.

The Association also participated in nearly 60 trade promotion programs with business associations and clubs inside and outside the city; and organized networking activities for its members. In addition, the Association regularly disseminated information on the State's policies, laws, and regulations in areas of interest to its members.

In addition to operating within its own organization, the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association actively collaborates with departments, agencies, and associations in the city to organize conferences, seminars, programs, and dialogues between businesses and state management agencies, helping to resolve difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses.

In 2023 alone, the Association coordinated and organized numerous workshops on digital transformation and entrepreneurship for young people, with over 1,200 members participating. These events provided member businesses with new knowledge about business operational thinking, which they then applied to their own operations.

In the first three months of 2024, the Association participated in more than 10 trade promotion programs with associations and clubs inside and outside the city, and organized networking activities for members through cultural and sports events.

Responsibility to the community

In terms of social work, the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association actively participates in activities organized by the Hai Phong City People's Committee, the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Hai Phong City Youth Union, such as the "Journey for the Homeland's Islands and Seas" program in Bach Long Vi island district in 2023; the Winter Volunteer Program; the "Journey of Gratitude - Lighting Up Hope" program in 2023; and the seminar on building the Young Entrepreneurs Association in the Northwest mountainous region.

“Building on past successes, in 2024, the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association has identified the development of the collective economy as being linked to a reasonable and sustainable growth rate. We strive to increase its contribution to Hai Phong's GRDP, along with other economic sectors,” said Mr. Do Huu Huynh.

According to Mr. Huynh, the Association will continue to improve the effectiveness of the Hai Phong Investment and Startup Fund to support young entrepreneurs in the city. They will actively and proactively overcome difficulties, innovate, expand markets, be sensitive in grasping the situation, be proactive and creative in the production and business process, focusing on quality and efficiency to ensure sustainable development. They will have short-term, medium-term, and long-term development plans for businesses; and do a good job of supporting member businesses...

In addition, the Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association continues to monitor the situation of its members, regularly reporting difficulties and obstacles to the City and relevant authorities for consideration and resolution, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its member businesses.

The Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Association has nearly 350 members, operating in various industries and fields such as trade, logistics, construction, real estate, education, etc., and 5 affiliated clubs, including: Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Football Club, Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Golf Club, Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs Tennis Club, Hai Phong Investment and Entrepreneurship Club, and Hai Phong Young Entrepreneurs 1983 Club.
