The Beckhams and their eldest son are growing increasingly distant. |
According to British media, tensions within the Beckham family continue to escalate following a Daily Mail article claiming that David Beckham and Victoria Beckham unfollowed their eldest son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz on social media. However, Cruz Beckham immediately denied the allegations.
On his personal page, 20-year-old Cruz reposted the article with an angry caption: "That's not true. My parents would never unfollow their son. Let's tell the truth. They woke up and found themselves blocked, and so did I." This statement quickly caused a stir, pushing the Beckham family conflict to its peak.
According to Mirror , the rift between Brooklyn and Nicola, and David and Victoria, had been simmering since 2022, the time leading up to Brooklyn's lavish wedding in the US. Rumors that Nicola refused to wear a wedding dress designed by Victoria caused a major conflict between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, although both sides denied any disagreement.

Brooklyn's younger brother accuses him and his wife of blocking their parents on social media. |
Last August, Brooklyn and Nicola held a "renewal of marriage vows" ceremony in New York, officiated by Nicola's billionaire father. Notably, Beckham and his wife did not attend the event, despite having attended their official wedding three years prior.
Brooklyn has also been absent from several important family milestones recently, including Beckham's knighting ceremony in November and the MLS Cup final where Inter Miami won their first championship. During that historic celebratory moment, Beckham only posed for photos with Victoria and their three children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
The Beckham family has long been seen as a symbol of unity, but recent events suggest their relationship is experiencing unprecedented tension. And with the "blocking each other on social media" being exposed, the conflict seems far from over.
