The competition accepts entries from November 2nd to December 3rd, with voting open from December 5th to December 10th. Authors can submit entries in two categories: Designing a mascot for Ho Chi Minh City tourism , and Designing a model for Ho Chi Minh City tourist check-in.

For each category, the Organizing Committee will select and award prizes to the best works, announced on December 12th. The total prize value amounts to 630 million VND, along with media benefits on VnExpress newspaper. In addition, winning works will be considered for practical implementation and use in promotional activities, tourism development, and serving the economic , cultural, social, domestic, and foreign affairs development of Ho Chi Minh City.
Additionally, the organizers have postponed the creative workshop for the best ideas from the preliminary round to December 15-17. Following this, readers can vote for the final round from December 19 to 21, and the organizers will conduct judging on December 23 and 24. The exhibition and awards ceremony dates remain unchanged.
The awards ceremony and announcement of the winning entries will be broadcast live on the Vibrant Ho Chi Minh City Fanpage, VnExpress.net Newspaper, and VnExpress.net Fanpage.
The Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Check-in Model and Emblem Design Contest, directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism in collaboration with VnExpress Newspaper, is a first-ever competition themed "The City I Love." The contest aims to find and select creative and unique ideas that reflect the local culture, history, and geography. The ultimate goal is to create new tourism products and contribute to promoting Ho Chi Minh City as a tourist destination.
In addition to the prizes, finalists will have the opportunity to visit and survey the locations and venues included in the competition; interact and exchange expertise with the judging panel at the creative camp; and participate in the Creative Talk program on the theme "Creativity to elevate tourism in Ho Chi Minh City".
