Straw mushroom prices increased slightly

Currently, the price of straw mushrooms sold by farmers to traders has increased by about 10,000-15,000 VND/kg compared to previous months.

Specifically, the price of grade 1 straw mushrooms (bud mushrooms) ranges from 55,000 to 65,000 VND/kg, while the price of grade 2 and 3 straw mushrooms (blooming mushrooms) ranges from 50,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the retail price at the markets ranges from 80,000 to 100,000 VND/kg (photo).

According to many mushroom farmers, the reason for the increase in straw mushroom prices is due to reduced supply and high demand for straw mushrooms.

At this time, many localities have finished the rice harvest, the straw supply has decreased, at the same time, because people store straw to raise livestock, the price of straw has increased sharply, also narrowing the area for growing straw mushrooms, reducing mushroom output.
