2.8 million PI tokens launched in the market

Today, one of the most notable token unlock events of April is taking place as Pi Network prepares to release 2.8 million PI tokens into circulation. With the current price nearly 80% lower than its all-time high, many investors are watching closely to see how the market will react.

In April 2025, a total of at least 108.9 million PI tokens are expected to be unlocked. If we include the next 12 months, this number could reach over 1.56 billion PI tokens. On average, around 134 million tokens will be issued each month, with December 2027 alone expected to be the peak month with over 432 million PI tokens being unlocked.
