(Chinhphu.vn) - On the evening of March 12, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance announced the adjustment of retail prices for petroleum products, effective from 10 PM on the same day.

The price of E5RON92 gasoline will not exceed 22,504 VND/liter (a decrease of 447 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price, equivalent to a 1.95% reduction).

Accordingly, the Inter-Ministerial Committee decided to continue applying a fuel price management plan that combines stabilizing domestic fuel prices with adjusting domestic fuel prices to stabilize fuel prices and ensure that domestic fuel prices accurately reflect world fuel price trends; to continue maintaining a reasonable price difference between E5RON92 bio-gasoline and RON95 unleaded gasoline to encourage the use of biofuels; and to ensure a balance of interests among market participants.

Specifically, the use of the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund is as follows:

Biofuel: 4,000 VND/liter (unchanged);

Unleaded gasoline: 4,000 VND/liter (unchanged);

Diesel fuel: 5,000 VND/liter (unchanged);

The price of E5RON92 gasoline will not exceed 22,504 VND/liter (a decrease of 447 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price, equivalent to a 1.95% reduction), which is 3,071 VND/liter lower than RON95-III gasoline.

The price of RON95-III gasoline will not exceed 25,575 VND/liter (an increase of 335 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price, equivalent to a 1.33% increase).

The price of 0.05S diesel fuel will not exceed 27,025 VND/liter (an increase of 555 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price, equivalent to a 2.10% increase).

The price of kerosene will not exceed 26,932 VND/liter (an increase of 2,513 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price, equivalent to a 10.29% increase).

The price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil will not exceed 18,661 VND/kg (a decrease of 340 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price, equivalent to a 1.79% reduction).
