On the morning of April 11th, the Lai Hoa Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Lai Hoa commune and Vinh Phuoc ward organizations ( Can Tho City), organized the 11th "Zero-Cost Booth" program, on the occasion of the Khmer New Year (Chol Chnam Thmay) in 2026 and in anticipation of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).

Gifts were given to Khmer ethnic minority households in extremely difficult circumstances at the "Zero-Cost Booth".
During the program, Lai Hoa Border Guard Station coordinated the donation of 70 gift packages containing essential necessities, totaling 21 million VND, to Khmer ethnic households facing particularly difficult circumstances in Lai Hoa commune and Vinh Phuoc ward.

In addition to organizing a centralized "Zero-Cost Booth," the Lai Hoa Border Guard Station also coordinated with local organizations to visit and give gifts to disadvantaged Khmer ethnic households during the Chol Chnam Thmay Tet holiday.
The "Zero-Cost Booth" is an activity with profound humanitarian significance, contributing to caring for the material and spiritual lives of the Khmer ethnic minority, helping them celebrate the traditional Chôl Chnăm Thmây New Year in 2026 joyfully, safely, and economically. Although the gifts are not large, they demonstrate the timely concern and sharing of all levels and sectors towards the lives of the Khmer people in the coastal border area. The program also spreads the spirit of mutual support and compassion, strengthens national unity, and tightens the bond between the military and the people in the border region.
