Quarterly meeting of the Internal Affairs sector, first quarter of 2025.

On the afternoon of April 15th, Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, chaired the quarterly meeting of the Internal Affairs sector for the first quarter and the implementation of key tasks for the second quarter of 2025. Also attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Head of the Provincial Internal Affairs Committee; Mr. Bui Duy Hung, Director of the Provincial Police; Mr. Ta Dang Doan, Secretary of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee; leaders of the District, Town, and City Party Committees; and relevant departments and agencies.

Overview of the conference

In the first quarter of 2025, the internal affairs agencies actively and proactively advised the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Waste, and Negative Phenomena, and Party committees at all levels to successfully complete the set goals and tasks. They have closely monitored the situation and effectively handled emerging issues related to political security and social order; promptly detected, combated, and prevented various types of crimes and violations of the law. In the fight against crime and violations of the law, the Provincial Police received and resolved 731 reports of crimes, detected and handled 122 cases involving 143 individuals related to economic corruption, 130 cases related to environmental law violations, and 205 drug-related cases.

Delegates attending the conference

The two-level People's Courts have resolved over 1,300 cases; the civil enforcement work has completed more than 1,940 cases. They have also served over 1,600 citizens and received over 1,400 petitions.

Based on the opinions of the delegates and the conclusions of the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Huong Giang, emphasized the key tasks for the second quarter, requesting that agencies in the bloc closely adhere to the conclusions and directives of the Central Government in internal affairs, anti-corruption, anti-waste, and judicial reform, while also ensuring the timely implementation of organizational restructuring and streamlining, and the implementation of the two-tiered government model at the local level.

Strengthen coordination and advisory work to ensure the maintenance of political security and social order in the province. Improve the effectiveness of state management in all fields; focus on implementing programs, plans, tasks, and solutions for the development of science , technology, innovation, and digital transformation in accordance with Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo.
