At the same time, it provides meaningful moments for families to gather and bond together after busy workdays.
Within the framework of the festival, the activity of exchanging and meeting exemplary families with the theme "Keeping the Flame of Happiness Alive" attracted the attention of a large number of participants. The sincere sharing from the families not only touched the emotions of the listeners but also inspired positive feelings about love, companionship, and sharing in married and family life.

For the family of Mr. Y Duyet Nie (Cu M'gar district), happiness doesn't lie in grand things but is nurtured from everyday moments. As teachers, both husband and wife work far from home, and their busy schedules limit the time they can spend with their children. However, instead of letting this become a barrier, they choose to work together, dividing their responsibilities appropriately to always have time to connect.
“We cherish every moment we spend together, eating meals, doing housework, taking our children out to play, or simply sitting down after a long day to listen to them tell stories about school. In our free time, I often share with my children about our ethnic cultural identity, teaching them how to play the gong, weave cloth… Nurturing family bonds while preserving our ethnic culture not only helps family members become closer but also helps our children understand and be proud of their roots,” shared Mr. Y Duyet.
For Mr. Hoang Nhat Nam (Buon Ma Thuot City), a prominent figure in community activities, the secret to maintaining a stable family life can be summed up in two words: "understanding" and "love."
What is impressive about Mr. Nam's family is the quiet but steadfast support of his wife and children in his journey of sharing and giving. As an active participant in charitable programs, he frequently organizes trips with his group of friends to remote areas, bringing warm clothes, bags of rice, and other necessities to those in need. Behind each of his trips is the devoted wife and children who are always there, ready to stand by their parents' side.
“My family has always valued a lifestyle of sharing and connection. I often create opportunities for my children to participate in community activities, sometimes contributing to a charity program or simply helping neighbors. These activities not only give the whole family more time together but also provide opportunities for children to learn empathy, listen, and open their hearts to the world around them. I believe that from these things, my children will gradually develop love and a sense of responsibility towards the community in a natural and sustainable way,” Mr. Nam shared.

Besides the activities of socializing and meeting exemplary families, the exhibition area featuring family photographs also attracted a large number of viewers. Simple moments in family life were captured authentically and emotionally. Without needing commentary, each photograph was a slice of life that made viewers pause to reflect on the precious things around them.
In particular, the food stalls, showcasing agricultural products, regional specialties, and high-quality OCOP products, have become an ideal stop for many families. Ms. Phan Ngoc Linh (34 years old, Thanh Nhat Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City) and her husband and two young children spent an entire evening strolling around the stalls, enjoying delicious food, and choosing some specialties to take home.
Ms. Linh confided: “My husband and I are busy all year round, sometimes we can't even have a meal together for a whole week. Today, the whole family had the chance to go out, eat together, and share stories about our hometowns. Seeing the children happily chatting and laughing, I felt the warm atmosphere of family return. Moments like these are more precious to me than a long vacation .”
The event has ended, but its impact lingers in the hearts of many participants. More than just a cultural event, the Vietnamese Family Day is a gentle yet profound reminder of the sacred value of home – a place we all long to return to, no matter where we go.
