In the area of 26-3 Square, Nguyen Trai Street currently has two Km0 milestones. One is a traditional concrete milestone, used as a traffic guide, clearly stating "Ha Giang 0km", "Tuyen Quang 155km". Next to it is a tourist milestone built of granite, elaborately decorated with many parameters in Vietnamese, English and Chinese: "Date of establishment: August 20, 1891", "Ha Giang - Hanoi: 320km", "National standard milestone 104.499m"...
The two Km0 milestones are not only administrative milestones but also carry historical, cultural and tourism values of the province. This is also the starting point for the journey to explore famous landscapes such as: Lung Cu National Flagpole, Dong Van Ancient Town, Dong Van Stone Plateau, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Quan Ba Twin Mountains...

Over the years, this milestone has become a check-in point for tourists every time they set foot in Ha Giang. Keeping the Km0 milestones intact not only shows respect for the historical and cultural values of Ha Giang in the past, but also contributes to maintaining the emotions and memories of tourists with this land. This is also a way to preserve a familiar tourism symbol in the context of the newly formed province after the merger.
