According to Resolution No. 1720/NQ-UBTVQHQH15 dated June 24, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term from July 1, 2025.
Pursuant to Decision No. 786/QD-UBND and 788/QD-UBND dated June 28, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee, two comrades: Nguyen The Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and comrade Hoang Viet Phuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee will retire early from July 1, 2025.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, expressing gratitude to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for transferring jobs and retiring, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan affirmed that during the time comrades Nguyen Van Son holds the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrades Hoang Viet Phuong and Nguyen The Giang hold the position of Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, have directed the implementation of the completion of the tasks of the main annual and phased goals and tasks; always upholding the sense of responsibility, directing the resolution of work decisively and effectively; adhering to the principle of democratic centralism along with maintaining discipline, regularly upholding the spirit of self-criticism and criticism, maintaining solidarity and unity within the organization, ensuring democracy, objectivity, and compliance with the Party's principles; always having a spirit of striving, training, determination, fierceness, enthusiasm, and a desire to contribute efforts and intelligence to the development of the province.

At the same time, spend a lot of time going to the grassroots to directly grasp the situation, promptly provide guidance to help localities and units overcome difficulties and obstacles; visit and encourage cadres, party members and people in localities in the province... Thereby, contributing to the breakthrough development of Tuyen Quang province in recent years.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan affirmed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee will continue, inherit and promote the achievements of previous generations, including the important contributions of comrades, to join the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in the province to build Tuyen Quang increasingly prosperous and beautiful.
The Provincial People's Committee believes that in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Van Son will continue to affirm his mettle, intelligence, promote his experience and capacity, and excellently fulfill the important responsibilities assigned by the Party and the State; Comrades Nguyen The Giang and Hoang Viet Phuong will continue to contribute their efforts, intelligence, enthusiasm as well as share their valuable experiences with the successor cadres in particular, and with the local government activities at all levels in general, bringing Tuyen Quang province to further development in the new era.

On behalf of the comrades who have transferred jobs and retired, speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Son respectfully thanked the comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the collective of the Provincial People's Committee, cadres, civil servants and workers who are not afraid of difficulties and hardships and promote their assigned duties and responsibilities, making efforts with the collective of the Provincial People's Committee to resolve difficulties and obstacles, to gradually reduce the steps to shorten the gap with developed localities of the whole country.

Comrade Nguyen Van Son also congratulated the comrades appointed by the Prime Minister to hold positions in the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee after the merger, and the comrades appointed by the Provincial People's Council as members of the Provincial People's Committee after the merger.

The new province after the merger has a larger area and a larger population, so the responsibility of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the Provincial People's Committee will be heavy. With his experience and responsibility, he affirmed that he will work closely with the Provincial People's Committee to continue developing the province, and the people of all ethnic groups in the province will have a prosperous and happy life.
