According to the report of the Party Committee of Ha Tien ward, the growth rate of total product value in the area in 2025 reached 11.68% (exceeding the plan). Total retail sales and revenue from goods reached 3,596 billion VND (over 110% of the plan); import and export turnover reached 70.91 million USD, with exports accounting for the majority.
These results show that the trade, services, and import-export sector continues to play a driving role in growth, consistent with Ha Tien's advantages as a border gate, maritime economy , and trade connectivity hub.

The Ha Tien General Port is accelerating its construction progress and, upon completion, will contribute to the strong development of Ha Tien in the future.
In addition, the ward's budget revenue is estimated at over 54.4 billion VND (exceeding the projected target by over 21%). Disbursement of public investment capital reached nearly 100%, reflecting efforts to improve management efficiency and build confidence among businesses and investors when implementing projects in the area. Industrial, handicraft, fisheries, and agricultural activities continued to be stable, contributing to the diversification of the local economic structure.
The tourism sector has seen a strong recovery. In 2025, Ha Tien welcomed over 3.66 million visitors (an increase of over 25% compared to the same period). Tourist areas, historical and cultural relics, scenic spots, and traditional festivals have received investment, preservation, and effective exploitation. Linking tourism development with trade and services has contributed to increased tourist spending, created livelihoods for local people, and provided business opportunities for local enterprises.

Notably, Ha Tien is gradually integrating digital transformation into its tourism activities, from promoting and advertising destinations to providing information support for tourists. This is a direction consistent with the trend of smart tourism, opening up opportunities for service and travel businesses to innovate products, improve the quality of experiences, and increase added value.
Alongside economic and tourism development, science and technology and digital transformation have been identified as key breakthroughs. Ha Tien Ward has implemented digital transformation tasks linked to administrative reform, improving management and operational efficiency. The Public Administrative Service Center operates stably and smoothly, contributing to shortening processing times and reducing costs for citizens and businesses, thereby improving the investment and business environment.

Evaluating the achievements, Mr. Nguyen Luu Trung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Tien Ward - said that completing and exceeding the socio-economic targets for 2025 is the result of consensus within the political system, the efforts of the business community and the people. In the coming time, Ha Tien will continue to focus on economic development, significantly improve the investment environment, accelerate digital transformation and enhance the quality of tourism in a sustainable direction.
With 12 out of 12 targets met or exceeded, Ha Tien not only affirmed its administrative capacity in the first year of operating under the new government model, but also created an important foundation for the next phase of development. These results open up many opportunities for businesses in the fields of trade and services, tourism, logistics, border trade, and digital economy, contributing to making Ha Tien a dynamic and attractive destination in the new development space of An Giang province.
