The program is being implemented to commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), the 115th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's departure to seek a path to national salvation (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2026), and the 50th anniversary of the official renaming of Saigon - Gia Dinh City to President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026).

The meticulously staged art program created an emotionally charged atmosphere, a meeting point between everyday stories and familiar songs written about President Ho Chi Minh and the city named after him – a place that holds the memories, beliefs, and aspirations for development of many generations.
Stories about Uncle Ho and his exemplary moral character, style, and way of life will forever live on in the hearts of the Vietnamese people.

Beyond just music , the program also opens up intimate conversations, helping viewers find a part of their own memories through each page of books, stories, and musical melody that has accompanied them through the years.

During the program, the audience watched excerpts from the documentary "The Last Hours of President Ho Chi Minh's Life," produced by the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the People's Army Film Studio; excerpts from the documentary "Ho Chi Minh: A Journey"; clips about the image of Ho Chi Minh in typical works of art; and how this tradition is being continued …
In addition, the audience enjoyed song and dance performances such as: "Uncle Ho - The Man Who Gave Me Everything," "Flowers in Uncle Ho's Garden," "Ho Chi Minh, the Most Beautiful Name," "Uncle Ho's Last Words Before He Passed Away,"... with performances by Meritorious Artist Van Khanh, Meritorious Artist Pham The Vi, singers Anh Bang, Thanh Nga, Truc Lai, Thanh Nguyen, etc.

Participating in the exchange program were Mr. Dao Kim Trang, former Youth Union official, one of the founders of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Travelers Association, and a representative of the "Good Children of Uncle Ho" program in 1983; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet, who preserves thousands of documents about President Ho Chi Minh; director Ngo Quang Thinh (TFS Film Studio), screenwriter and director of two documentary films with a strong historical imprint of Ho Chi Minh - "The Road Ahead" and "A Triumphal Song in the Heart of Paris" ; and Cap Hoang Dung, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Council in 2024, who is an outstanding young citizen of Ho Chi Minh City, a young talent of Ho Chi Minh City, and a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Council.
