The portrayals of the Jade Emperor (Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long) and the Heavenly Empress (singer Cam Ly) in the 2024 Spring Festival Comedy Show.
Continuing the annual tradition, the Táo Xuân comedy show will be held with a new theme, "Carp Transforming into a Dragon," to welcome the Year of the Dragon 2024 (it will be broadcast at 8 PM on the 30th day of the Lunar New Year (February 9th) on THVL1 channel).
Besides content revolving around events of the year, the participating artists were also dressed up as fairies in incredibly magnificent costumes.
The key figures in the celestial court are the Jade Emperor (Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long) and the Heavenly Empress (singer Cam Ly). Both costumes are made of luxurious velvet and brocade, adorned with elaborate and heavy embellishments of flying dragons and dancing phoenixes.
Therefore, the two artists had to try their best to perform naturally and gracefully, in addition to the appearance of the Catfish (Ngoc Hoa), the Flowerhorn Cichlid (Duy Khuong), and the Glass Catfish (Tra Ngoc). Even more special this year is the first appearance of Hua Vi Van in the role of "Carp".
The trio of Pink Apples - Green Apples - Red Apples
The highlight is the trio of Pink Apples - Green Apples - Red Apples. Having previously played the roles of "Nam Tao Bac Dau" in the previous two years, this year's Spring Apple show features a change: the Green Apple character will be played by comedian Minh Du.
The Three Goddesses
The Nam Tao - Bac Dau duo is played by Vo Tan Phat and Huu Dang. This year, Miss Le Hoang Phuong makes her first appearance in the Hang Nga trio, which includes actor Hai Trieu as the beautiful "Nguyet Moon" and Le Khanh as "Nga Nga Ngan Nam". Their exaggerated and satirical portrayals are full of humor and irony.
