'Helldivers 2' confirmed to be released in 2023

According to Neowin , recently during Sony's PlayStation Showcase program, the company revealed a new category in the Helldivers game series from developer Arrowhead Game Studios. However, Helldivers 2 will have a big change compared to the original.

Instead of being a top-down shooter like the first game, Helldivers 2 will be a third-person shooter. Additionally, the ability to deal damage to teammates will be enabled by default in missions, so players will need to be careful with each shot to avoid hurting teammates, as well as trying to avoid being hit by their bullets.

Helldivers 2 will still retain the original gameplay, players will have to perform missions to defeat dangerous aliens. The game is expected to be released in late 2023 for both PlayStation 5 and PC.
