Launched in 2022, the digital library has made a significant leap forward in serving the university's staff, faculty, and students. The center has invested in a comprehensive information technology infrastructure, including 45 computers for readers, 2 servers for managing the database and operating the website, integrated e-library software, a network system, barcode scanners, and specialized equipment, all of which are being gradually automated to improve service efficiency.
Mr. Luong Van Kien, Director of the Information and Library Center, said: Alongside infrastructure investment, the Center has built and developed a digital learning resource repository with over 85,000 books, including over 2,800 digitized textbooks, 404 reference materials, and more than 300 scientific research topics. The resources are categorized by field and integrated into the electronic library system, allowing users to easily search, register to borrow books, or read materials online via QR code.

The application of technology has yielded remarkable results. Previously, searching for documents took learners 10 to 15 minutes, but now it only takes about 1 to 2 minutes. Each year, the system records nearly 750,000 visits, increasingly meeting the learning and research needs of faculty, staff, and students.
Nguyen Anh Tuan, a student in the K62 Electrical and Electronic Engineering College program, shared: "Since the introduction of the electronic library, finding study materials has become much more convenient. I just need to enter the book title, and the system immediately displays relevant results. I can read materials anywhere without having to go to the library in person like before."

Besides serving the learning needs of students, the digital library also effectively supports the faculty in easily updating new materials, facilitating lecture preparation, curriculum development, and research projects. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Head of the Tourism Department, Faculty of Culture, Arts and Tourism, said: "Previously, every time I prepared a lecture, I had to spend a lot of time going to the library to find materials. Since the digital library came into operation, searching has become much faster and more convenient. The electronic learning materials system helps me access diverse resources, effectively serving my teaching and research."

To maximize the effectiveness of the digital library, the Information and Library Center regularly organizes training sessions and guides for staff, lecturers, and students on how to utilize the system through online materials and links. This contributes to developing digital information retrieval skills and fostering reading and self-learning habits from the early years of study. In addition, the Center promotes online activities such as book introductions and document exhibitions on its website and social media platforms. This approach helps spread reading culture to a wider audience while increasing interaction between the library and users in the digital environment.
Continuing to enhance the effectiveness of the digital library, the Center has been focusing on supplementing digital learning resources, gradually perfecting the digital library in a modern direction, ensuring the ability to share and connect data quickly and efficiently; striving to digitize 100% of existing documents; ensuring 100% of staff, lecturers and students have free access to the digital library; and simultaneously connecting with the provincial digital library system, contributing to the innovation of teaching and learning methods and building a modern educational environment.
