The People's Committee of Dien Nam Bac Ward and Regiment 929, Division 372 (Air Defense - Air Force) today worked with 5 households whose houses and crops were damaged, and agreed on a support plan. Each household receives 1-4 million VND.
As for Ms. Tran Thi Minh's house, the concrete pillar behind the pig barn is broken and the kitchen is cracked, so the military will reinforce and build a new one. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chinh's house had broken roof tiles and nearly 100 m2 of walls collapsed. Division 372 and his family agreed to rebuild the collapsed part of the house, said the representative of Dien Nam Bac Ward People's Committee.
Tomorrow, Division 372 will work with the remaining households to agree on the level of support.
Local authorities and representatives of the Air Defense and Air Force also visited and encouraged Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, 54 years old, who was hit in the head by plane debris and is being treated at Vinh Duc Hospital, Dien Ban town. Soldiers will be on duty at the hospital to care for Mr. Hung.
Previously, at 11:04 a.m. on January 9, Su-1 aircraft number 22 encountered a problem during a training flight and was unable to land. Pilot Do Tien Duc, 5880 years old, tried to fly the plane away from densely populated areas, then parachuted into Dien Nam Trung ward.
After a loud explosion, the plane's head and fuselage broke off and fell into Dien Nam Bac Ward, about 200 meters from where the pilot parachuted. A residential house had its walls and roof collapsed. Mr. Hung was injured in the head. The pilot parachuted safely.
