Co Vien Lau, covering an area of approximately 20,000 square meters, currently displays 22 ancient houses from various villages in the Northern Delta. These include the nearly 200-year-old Tho Xuan ancient house (Thanh Hoa province); the Luu Phuong ancient house (Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province) built in 1807; the Yen Yen ancient house ( Nam Dinh province ) built in 1883; and the Khanh Hoa ancient house...
Dubbed a "miniature Northern Vietnamese village," these ancient houses were meticulously collected from various places and restored by a private enterprise starting in 1990. In 2007, with the aim of preserving and promoting the value of the ancient village, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee allocated over 9,000 square meters of land to Minh Thoa Enterprise under a land lease agreement to implement the Co Vien Lau project.
