The period from 2024 to 2026 marks a significant transformation of the Advanced Youth Movement following Uncle Ho's teachings at An Giang University. With a pioneering spirit and a desire to contribute, the university's youth have transformed theoretical principles into practical action. The entire university has 1,191 students who have achieved the title of outstanding Youth Union member, 502 new members have been admitted, and 65 outstanding individuals have been recommended to the Party for consideration for membership. Many excellent models and youth projects with profound humanitarian significance, focused on the community, have been implemented, igniting the flame of enthusiasm among the younger generation in the homeland of Uncle Ho.

In the fragrant garden of following Uncle Ho's teachings, each student honored represents a beautiful story of overcoming difficulties and relentless creativity. Phan Thanh Huy, a member of the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, boasts a cumulative GPA of 8.94/10. Not only has he been recognized as a "5 Good Student" at the university level for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025), but Huy is also an active participant in research activities and seminars applying modern technology.

Sharing his motivation, Huy confided: “Following President Ho Chi Minh's spirit of self-study and innovative thinking, I always strive to harmoniously combine acquiring knowledge in class with participating in practical activities. As a marketing student, I and my classmates in the Faculty's Youth Union apply AI to organizing communication campaigns. We also integrate following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings into practical projects on campus. Typical examples include the communication model for the "Garbage-Free Parking" campaign in June 2025, or activities such as offering incense and cleaning up at the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery and the Ton Duc Thang Memorial Area.”

In the garden of learning, following Uncle Ho's teachings, probationary Party member Nguyen Hoang Vien - Vice President of the University's Student Union and Deputy Secretary of the Faculty of Education's Youth Union - shared a story of compassion and a mindset of dedication to the community. With an academic score of 8.93/10 and a training score of 94/100, Vien recently received the January Star Award and the title of "Outstanding 5-Good Student" for 2025. Vien also won first prize at the 2nd Provincial Student Scientific Research Conference with his research topic on local history. Viên expressed: “Imbued with Uncle Ho's teachings on love for humanity, I always direct the activities of the Youth Union and Associations towards those in difficult circumstances. Over the past time, I and my friends have carried out 75 projects, from the Summer Volunteer Campaign and the Spring of Love program to the “President Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space” model. When I directly participated in the “Popular Education Program” to assist elderly people in completing social retirement procedures in My Hoa Hung commune, I understood that knowledge from the classroom is only truly valuable when it serves and solves the problems of society.”

The outstanding achievements of Phan Thanh Huy, Nguyen Hoang Vien, and other exemplary individuals such as Le Quoc Khanh - President of the University's Student Union, winner of the Ly Tu Trong Award and the "5 Good Students" award at the central level in 2026; Le Hiep Nguyen, winner of the "January Star" award at the central level in 2026... are the result of the correct guidance and close support of the Youth Union and Student Union of An Giang University.

Evaluating the efforts and achievements of the university's youth union members, Tran Trung Quoc, Secretary of the An Giang University Youth Union, said: “In the new era, the Youth Union expects each member and student to continue to take Uncle Ho's spirit of self-study as a guiding principle; constantly improve their professional skills, master technology, dare to think, dare to act, and dare to make breakthroughs in scientific research. At the same time, they need to continue to keep the flame of volunteerism alive, bringing knowledge from the university into practical life to support local authorities.”
