This year, after a six-year hiatus, the Military Technical Academy is recruiting 600 students for its civilian programs across eight majors: Information Technology, Computer Science , Information Security, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The expected tuition fee for the civilian program is 1.85 million VND per month, equivalent to 18.5 million VND per academic year.
The school uses four admission methods: direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; admission based on excellent high school students with international certificates such as SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL iBT; based on the aptitude test scores of the two National Universities; and admission based on high school graduation exam scores.
The admission combinations include A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English), and A0T (Mathematics, Physics, Informatics).

The Ho Chi Minh City campus is recruiting only 80 students for the Information Security program. The total enrollment quota this year is 600.
Candidates will receive 1-2 priority points if they have an IELTS certificate with a score of 5.5 or higher. The academy announced the tuition fee for 2025 as VND 525,000 per credit. Students with high academic achievements during the semester will receive scholarships from the school.
The Military University of Culture and Arts announces the recruitment of 120 full-time undergraduate students in the following majors: Journalism, Cultural Management, Drama Acting, Film and Television, and Performing Arts (transfer from intermediate level). The expected tuition fee is 1.91 million VND per month.
Regarding the admission method, the university considers the high school graduation exam scores in the C00 combination (Literature, History, Geography) for the Journalism major. For other majors, the admission score is based on the Literature exam combined with two aptitude tests. The aptitude test will be held from July 7-9.
Candidates applying for civilian admission to police and military schools do not have to go through the preliminary selection process like those applying for regular police and military programs, and are not guaranteed employment after graduation.
This year, the Firefighting University is recruiting 250 civilian students for the Firefighting, Firefighting, and Rescue major through three methods: direct admission, admission based on academic transcripts, and admission based on high school graduation exam scores.

The admission combinations include A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English), D01 (Mathematics, Literature, English), and D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English). Candidates applying with the D01 combination must have a GPA of 5 or higher in either Physics or Chemistry across all three years.
For admission based on academic transcripts, candidates need to have a score of 5 or higher in each subject within the A00, A01, or D07 subject combination from grades 11 and 12. However, when calculating the admission score, the school will add the overall scores from grades 10, 11, and 12, along with bonus points (if there are special achievements or foreign language certificates) and priority points.
