On the morning of December 20th, the Nguyen Tien Dien, Nguyen Tao Duong, and Nguyen Canh Hoach clan councils (all from Hanoi ) and the Tran Bac Ninh clan (Bac Ninh province) jointly organized activities to pay tribute to the great poet Nguyen Du; and held a gathering and exchange among those who cherish Nguyen Du and the Tale of Kieu in Nghi Xuan and Tien Dien communes.

The great poet Nguyen Du (1765 - 2025) was an outstanding talent from Tien Dien, Ha Tinh province, a cultural figure with profound influence both domestically and internationally. His vast and distinctive literary legacy, especially *Truyen Kieu* (The Tale of Kieu), is the culmination of humanist thought, aspirations for justice and righteousness, aesthetic values, linguistic artistry, and Vietnamese cultural identity.
As part of the event, the delegation offered incense at several locations, including the tomb of the great poet Nguyen Du, the ancestral temple of his father Nguyen Nghiem, his residence, and the Nguyen Du historical site. The delegates expressed their respect for the humanistic and humanitarian values and the intellectual stature of Nguyen Du; and reminded themselves of their responsibility to preserve and promote the cultural heritage he left for present and future generations.

On this occasion, the Nguyen family councils of Tien Dien, Tao Duong, Canh Hoach, and Tran family councils of Bac Ninh also met and exchanged ideas among those who cherish Nguyen Du and The Tale of Kieu.

The gathering was not only an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between families who have made significant contributions to preserving and researching Nguyen Du's legacy, but also a space for those who share a deep appreciation for The Tale of Kieu to meet.

Through sharing, exchange, and a common understanding of the profound humanistic and humanitarian values in Nguyen Du's poetry, this activity contributes to spreading love for national culture and awakening awareness of preserving and promoting the legacy of The Tale of Kieu in contemporary life.
