Dong Co is a sacred temple ordered by King Ly Thai Tong to be built 995 years ago, in Hanoi. This ritual continued to be maintained in the Tran and Le dynasties, and to this day, continues to be reproduced by local people on the festival day of the temple.

Inside the Dong Co temple, there are still 12 ordinations from 1740 to 1883, bearing the era names: Canh Hung, Chieu Thong, Quang Trung, Canh Thinh, Thieu Tri, Tu Duc. On January 31, 1, the temple was recognized as a National Historic Site.
Currently, the temple continues to maintain the traditional oath. On the 4th day of the fourth lunar month every year, Nam village, Buoi ward, opens a festival. Not only the people and representatives of the local government, but also a large number of tourists from all over the world also come here to participate in the festival.
The Dong Co Temple Oath Festival has a special value in the Vietnamese cultural heritage system, clearly showing the patriotism, loyalty and filial piety of the Vietnamese people.
After the solemn ceremony, the festival was a special art program with an epic dance performance about the legend of the Dong Co temple and King Ly Thai Tong opened the Trung Hieu oath festival after the Tam Vuong disorder.
