Competition for workers during the Lunar New Year

On January 12th, the Trade Union of Industrial Zones in the province organized a competition for displaying Tet flower pots, tug-of-war, and sack racing among workers to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025.

The delegates presented commemorative flags to the units participating in the competition.

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Trade Union of Industrial Zones of the province awarded the first prize in the Tet flower pot display competition to the grassroots trade union of Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The competition featured 20 grassroots trade union units participating in a Tet flower pot display; 28 units in a sack race relay; and 22 units in a tug-of-war. The participating units competed with a spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm, and determination to win. In addition, union members and workers attending the competition also had the opportunity to interact, learn about trade union organization and labor laws, and receive many meaningful gifts.

First prize in the sack race relay competition was awarded to the Trade Union of Seshin Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The first prize in the tug-of-war competition was awarded to the Trade Union of Tasa Group Joint Stock Company.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, third, fourth, and consolation prizes, as well as several supplementary prizes, to the participating units in each category. Specifically, the first prize in the Tet flower pot display competition went to the Trade Union of Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd.; the first prize in the sack race relay went jointly to the Trade Union of Seshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Trade Union of ARP Vina Co., Ltd.; and the first prize in the tug-of-war competition went to the Trade Union of Tasa Group JSC.

Through this competition, we aim to create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere among union members and workers during Tet (Lunar New Year); provide opportunities for union members and workers to interact, connect, and participate in healthy and beneficial recreational activities; thereby fostering solidarity, improving physical and mental health, and creating motivation for labor and production competition to successfully complete tasks. At the same time, it contributes to preserving and promoting the beautiful aspects of the traditional Tet culture of the nation.

The final match of the tug-of-war competition was between the Trade Union of Tasa Group JSC and the Trade Union of Thang Cuong JSC.

Union members and workers enthusiastically participated in the exchange activities at the competition.
