More than 3,100 international tourists docked at Ha Long port.

(PLVN) - On November 11, Ha Long International Passenger Port welcomed two luxury cruise ships, Westerdam and Star Voyager, carrying more than 3,100 international tourists to visit Quang Ninh. Of which, Westerdam carried more than 1,900 passengers, while Star Voyager carried about 1,200 passengers, mainly from Europe and Southeast Asia.

During their stay in Quang Ninh, visitors will have the opportunity to experience many unique destinations and services such as visiting Ha Long Bay by restaurant boat, exploring Quang Ninh Museum, Ha Long Market I, spiritual tourist attractions, and the famous Queen cable car.

Tourists are excited to come to Quang Ninh .

According to the schedule, the Star Voyager will leave the port at 6 p.m. on November 11, while the Westerdam will depart at 9 p.m. on November 12. Notably, both ships are on a regular itinerary and will return to Quang Ninh several times from now until the end of the year.

From October to April next year, Quang Ninh will enter the cruise tourism season with a plan to welcome about 60 cruise ships, equivalent to 70,000 passengers. Since the beginning of 2025, the province has welcomed nearly 50 international cruise ships, bringing 60,000 tourists to visit and relax.

Most of the ships docking at Ha Long Port are luxury cruise ships operating on Asia and South Pacific routes, departing from various countries. In particular, many cruise lines return to Quang Ninh 4-6 times a year, each trip carrying about 1,000 passengers.

The steady growth of international cruise tourists is considered a positive signal for the Quang Ninh tourism industry, contributing to realizing the goal of welcoming more than 21 million visitors in 2025, including 4.5 million international visitors.
