More than 5,000 union members and youth join forces to respond to "Green Sunday"

Youth Union members of Ha Quang district mobilized to help eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in response to "Green Sunday".

Accordingly, 100% of the Youth Union units simultaneously launched "Green Sunday" with specific and practical activities: Peeling, removing, and cleaning up illegal classified ads; collecting, classifying, and processing plastic waste; cleaning the environment, agencies, and units; arranging village roads and alleys; clearing bushes; planting trees, taking care of youth tree rows, youth flower gardens; propagating to raise awareness among Youth Union members, teenagers, and people about the harmful effects of plastic waste, the importance of environmental protection, limiting the use of plastic bags and disposable plastic products; supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses; implementing the "Lighting up the Countryside Roads" project; coordinating the collection, guiding the registration, and activation of VNeID level 2 electronic identification, guiding people to contribute opinions on the 2013 Constitution amendment on the VneID application..., attracting more than 5,000 Youth Union members and youth to participate.

"Green Sunday" is regularly held by grassroots youth organizations in the province to join hands in solving the current situation of environmental pollution and responding to climate change. This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the spirit of volunteerism of young people; raising awareness among youth union members and people to actively and voluntarily participate in activities to protect and preserve a green - clean - beautiful environment.
