The program focused on disseminating legal information to fishermen, with particular emphasis on regulations related to preventing and combating IUU (Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated) fishing. The propaganda team of the 42nd Naval Squadron introduced the basic contents of the Vietnam Coast Guard Law and regulations on combating IUU violations, especially clarifying prohibited acts such as: illegal fishing in foreign waters, failure to install or intentionally disabling vessel tracking devices, and illegal border crossings. In addition, fishermen received specific guidance on recording fishing logs and carrying out procedures for notifying and verifying the origin of seafood at fishing ports as required. Through this activity, fishermen's awareness was enhanced, their rights and responsibilities were clearly understood, and they joined hands to lift the "yellow card" for Vietnam's fisheries sector.
