Expanding cooperation and promoting An Giang business brands

In the vibrant atmosphere of the Socio-Economic Achievement Exhibition celebrating the 80th Anniversary of National Day taking place at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi), An Giang enterprises were present with a proactive spirit and aspiration to reach out. Enterprises not only introduced their brands and affirmed the quality of their products but also sought cooperation opportunities and expanded their markets.

The exhibition of socio -economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) is taking place at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh (Hanoi).

With the largest scale ever, gathering 28 central ministries and branches, 34 localities and more than 110 enterprises and economic groups nationwide, the event has become an important highlight to affirm the country's remarkable development achievements over the past 80 years.

Introducing the potential and strengths of An Giang

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, affirmed that this is a comprehensive exhibition, introducing achievements of nearly 180 sectors and fields from industry, agriculture , trade, investment, culture, science and technology, education, health, environment, OCOP products to national defense, security, foreign affairs...

“The exhibition is not only an opportunity to look back on the past, but also to arouse the desire for development, spread the belief and will of the entire nation on the path of integration, and build a prosperous and happy country,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

In a space of 387.5m², An Giang province brings the exhibition with the theme "An Giang: One vision - One action - One belief!", divided into 4 display areas: An Giang - Land and people; The process of fighting against foreign invaders, protecting the homeland; An Giang - Innovation, integration and development; An Giang - Future vision.

In particular, An Giang participated in the exhibition with the participation of 30 businesses and tourism units. Among them were 20 commercial enterprises, 3 tourism units and 7 typical enterprises, contributing to fully demonstrating the potential and strengths of the locality.

Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho said that the province has proactively called on and mobilized the business community to participate in the exhibition to introduce typical products, promote brands and expand cooperation opportunities.

“Through the exhibition, An Giang businesses have the opportunity to sign cooperation agreements, promote trade and services, and increase the ability to export products to many domestic and foreign markets,” said Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho.

The exhibition space also introduces many typical products associated with An Giang such as dried snakehead fish, dried shrimp; handicraft products from Uzu mats, sedge. OCOP products such as: Fish sauce, pepper, rice exported to Japan, lingzhi mushrooms, honey, palm sugar...

In addition, there are publications introducing tours, tourist destinations, and videos promoting local images, creating strong impressions on domestic and foreign visitors.

Take advantage of brand promotion opportunities

According to Ms. Quang Xuan Lua, Director of the Provincial Center for Promotion, Investment, Trade and Tourism, An Giang and the businesses that brought to this exhibition hope to introduce their typical products, at the same time exchange culture and expand cooperation with other provinces and cities. "This is an opportunity not only to promote products but also to affirm An Giang's position in the integration process," Ms. Lua emphasized.

CIC Group Joint Stock Company (CIC Group) participated in the exhibition with the message "Opening land from the sea, creating the future", introducing typical projects and especially the social housing model. General Director of CIC Group Pham Thi Nhu Phuong said that the pioneering unit put into use more than 1,000 social housing units in An Giang and wished to bring to the exhibition images of urban development and sustainable social security of the province.

Along with that, An Giang Fruit and Vegetable Food Joint Stock Company (ANTESCO) - a company with more than 50 years of experience in the field of agricultural processing - brought to the event typical regional product lines processed with modern technology, including frozen fruits and vegetables and canned foods that meet international standards (ISO 22000, BRC FOODS, GLOBAL GAP, KOSHER, HALAL, FDA). Currently, ANTESCO products are present in more than 50 countries, with the main export markets being Europe, North America and Asia.

ANTESCO General Director Nguyen Hoang Minh shared: “This event is an opportunity for us to widely introduce regional agricultural products, expand cooperation with other provinces to develop sustainable value chains. This is also an opportunity to affirm the quality and brand position of An Giang agricultural products in the domestic and international markets”.
