Candidates in the 2023 aptitude test.
This afternoon (March 4th), Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Evaluation of Training Quality (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), announced that the online registration portal for the first phase of the competency assessment exam will close at the end of today.
As of 2 PM this afternoon, the registration portal has received 90,596 applications for the first phase of the exam. "Many candidates are still registering, and it is expected that there will be around 95,000-100,000 candidates taking the exam in the first phase this year," Dr. Chinh added.
Compared to the first phase of 2023, the number of registered candidates is currently at a similar level. Last year, the first phase had over 90,000 registered candidates.
Previously, as of February 21st, the Center for Testing and Evaluation of Training Quality (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) reported that only over 35,800 candidates had registered for the first phase of the aptitude test organized by the university. Thus, in just the last two weeks, the number of registered candidates increased by more than 50,000.
According to the plan, the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City will organize the first phase of the competency assessment exam on April 7th in the following localities: Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Tien Giang , Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, An Giang, Can Tho, Kien Giang, and Bac Lieu.
