Honda Vietnam recalls and replaces quick start manuals for CR-V hybrid electric version

According to the latest announcement from Honda Vietnam (HVN), the CR-V e:HEV RS model is subject to a recall related to the user manual to ensure accurate information for the product. The recall campaign is carried out to correct errors in the maintenance time frame in the periodic maintenance table.

Honda CRV e:HEV RS recalled due to incorrect information in the owner's manual.

Specifically, the periodic maintenance schedule by mileage or by time, whichever comes first, of the engine oil change section was incorrect with information after every 5,000 km or 6 years. Honda corrected it to after 5,000 km or 6 months.

The recall campaign affects 718 Honda hybrid vehicles manufactured between August 24, 2023 and March 12, 2024. They were distributed in Vietnam as completely imported units from Thailand.

Although there have been no cases of substandard maintenance recorded in the market, HVN recommends that customers quickly contact authorized dealers nationwide to replace the new Quick Start Guide. The cost of replacing the Quick Start Guide will be paid by HVN.
