The program "Exchange trash for gifts" is part of the "Let's Go Green with SeABank " environmental activities series implemented annually by the Bank with many practical activities such as: planting trees, cleaning the environment, cleaning the beach, giving environmentally friendly gifts, recycling waste, etc.

“Exchange trash for gifts festival” will be held from June to November 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. every Friday morning, the second week of the month. The program is for all SeABank employees and residents living in Hanoi. Accompanying SeABank in the program is URENCO - a state-owned enterprise under the Hanoi People's Committee with more than 60 years of experience in the environmental field. Currently, URENCO is the main unit in the collection and treatment of urban, industrial, medical and construction waste in the center and suburbs of Hanoi.

With this program, SeABank employees and residents can bring recyclable waste such as milk cartons, cans, plastic bottles, cardboard, etc. to exchange for meaningful green gifts prepared by the program's Organizing Committee and the accompanying unit URENCO. Right in the first month of implementation, "Exchanging trash for gifts" has attracted a large number of participants and created a positive spread in the community. In just 2 hours, the program received nearly 300kg of recyclable waste including cardboard, cans, plastic bottles, etc. Nearly 300 environmentally friendly gifts such as mini green trees, biological detergents, SeARun sports shirts, etc. and many other useful gifts from URENCO and SeABank were given to participants. The program's Organizing Committee also instructed people on how to identify and classify recyclable waste, hoping that everyone can raise awareness of waste treatment at the source.

According to SeABank representative, “Garbage for Gifts Festival” is not simply an opportunity for each individual to demonstrate their responsibility to the environment, but through it, SeABank wishes to arouse the spirit of community service and commitment to sustainable development that the Bank always pursues. Small actions today will contribute to creating a green - clean - beautiful Hanoi for future generations. This is a practical activity within SeABank's environmental action program, contributing to spreading a civilized, environmentally friendly lifestyle to the community, while raising people's awareness of waste treatment at the source.

The program "Garbage Exchange Day for Gifts" is part of the "Let's Go Green with SeABank" environmental activities that SeABank has implemented annually since 2018. Previously, the Bank has coordinated with environmental units to classify and treat waste with the desire to further spread the message of living responsibly towards the environment to the community. In addition to implementing environmental protection activities at work and at home such as: waste classification, tree planting, limiting the use of bottled water and plastic bags, limiting the use of plastic products, saving paper, saving electricity, saving water resources, the Bank advocates spreading a green lifestyle to customers through useful gifts such as glass water bottles, canvas bags, etc. for customers when they come to make transactions. Sustainable everyday items are given directly to customers by the Bank, thereby limiting the habit of using plastic bottles and plastic bags.

Along with activities to spread green lifestyles at home and at work, the Let's Go Green with SeABank series of activities also contributes to demonstrating the Bank's commitment to protecting the marine environment through the "Ocean Cleanup" program. In 2025, SeABank organized activities to clean up and collect waste at beaches in 11 provinces/cities and donated environmentally friendly trash cans and trash bags to localities, contributing to keeping beaches clean and protecting the ocean towards sustainable development.

With the goal of For the Community, SeABank expects that the chain of environmental activities will contribute to raising awareness of environmental protection, aiming to reduce waste and hard-to-destroy solid waste. This is also part of the ESG (Environment - Society - Governance) chain of activities that SeABank has been strongly implementing towards the goal of a sustainable bank development, linking business growth with social responsibility and environmental protection.
