From December 5-7, in the space of Hoan Kiem Lake walking street (Hanoi), "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025" will take place, an event chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
At the press conference on the afternoon of November 27 in Hanoi, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ), said: “Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 will officially take place, spreading the message of an 'Independent - Free - Happy' Vietnam. Not just a community event, the festival is designed as a journey to discover happiness, where everyone can find family memories, share loving moments and feel the sacred connection between people.”

This year's event includes 13 multi-layered experiences along Le Thai To - Hang Khay - Dinh Tien Hoang - Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, recreating rich perspectives on happiness through many generations. Including the "Happy Vietnam" Exhibition, Digital Interactive Space, Art Photobooth, Happiness Prism, Happiness Map, Happiness Tree, and the "Health is Happiness" program.
At the Ly Thai To Monument area, the “Happiness Tree” will become the highlight of the festival - where people and tourists can send their wishes, gratitude and sharing. The organizers said: “Each piece of paper hung up is like a seed of kindness, from which happiness is multiplied, spread and touches the hearts of strangers.” In addition, 80,000 souvenirs will be given to people and tourists.
In the main activities, the Opening Ceremony will take place on the evening of December 6 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, with the participation of leaders of ministries, departments and branches. On the same day, there will be a "Mass Wedding - Love is Happiness" of 80 couples - a symbol of faith, peace and the desire for love in an independent, free and happy Vietnam.
Also within the framework of the program, the Happy Vietnam 2025 Awards Ceremony (broadcast live on VTV4) will honor the most inspiring photos and videos about Vietnamese happiness. There will also be a workshop called “The Prism of Happiness” (December 6-7), a Vietnamese costume parade called “Bach Hoa Bi Hanh” with more than 800 people wearing traditional costumes walking through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, and a music night called “Vietnam Happiness” (December 7) with the participation of many young artists such as Bui Cong Nam, Lam Bao Ngoc... open to the public for free.
According to the organizers, “Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 is not only a cultural and artistic festival, but also an affirmation that Vietnam's happiness is built from peace, love, solidarity and the simplest things.”
