The Huawei Mate 70 is expected to officially launch in China on November 26th. A week prior, the manufacturer allowed pre-orders on Huawei Mall with three options: the standard Mate 70, the Pro version, and the Pro+. The top-of-the-line Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design remains a secret.

Despite the lack of specific pricing and detailed specifications, the Mate 70 is creating a sensation in China. Huaweicentral reports that the online pre-order system recorded 1 million orders within minutes of going on sale. The latest data shows that the Huawei Mate 70 has reached 2 million orders after two days of pre-orders and is nearing 3 million. The first orders will be delivered on the official product launch date.

Analysts predict the Mate 70 will quickly surpass the record sales of its predecessor. When the Mate 60 launched, Huawei also attracted a large fan base thanks to the return of the Kirin 5G chipset. GSMArena quoted Beijing Digital Master, a well-known financial expert on Weibo, as saying that the Mate 60 series has already surpassed 30 million units sold.

To maintain the appeal of "the most powerful Mate series in history," Huawei also brought some of the first versions to physical stores. Customers can also visit these stores directly to view the device and place orders.

In China, long lines of consumers are queuing outside the company's physical stores to buy the Mate 70. Huaweicentral estimates that thousands of people are gathering in front of stores across many cities in China.

Those who visit the offline store not only get to see the Mate 70 in person but also have the chance to receive their device early. According to the announcement, those who order in-store will receive their devices before those who purchase online.

However, many people are concerned that with the surge in demand, Huawei may not have enough stock to fulfill the initial orders. That's why many people are willing to wait for hours outside stores to ensure they get a chance to buy the device.

On China's Weibo social media platform, the Mate 70 also became a hot topic of discussion. "Huawei Mate 70 sold out" was also a trending keyword. Many people reported that online stores recorded thousands of incorrect reservations within minutes, further exacerbating the Mate 70's scarcity.

The first images reveal that the Huawei Mate 70 will offer many breakthroughs in both appearance and technology. Accordingly, the device will retain the iconic circular camera ring but will use a diamond-cut bevel to create a premium look.

In terms of specifications, Huawei will use the latest generation Kirin chipset, running the HarmonyOS NEXT operating system with superior performance. The standard version comes with 12 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage, while the Pro+ version has an additional 16 GB RAM option.

Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor Devices, wrote on Weibo that the Huawei Mate 70 will be the strongest competitor to all flagship phones on the market.

A notable upgrade on the Mate 70 is the HarmonyOS NEXT operating system, which is expected to surpass iOS and Android in terms of smoothness, a simpler user interface, and enhanced security.

Some rumors suggest that Huawei will introduce its first 5nm Kirin chip on the day of the Mate 70 launch. The company has not commented on this, but some sources indicate that small-scale production of the 5nm chip has already begun. If integrated into the Mate 70, users will experience impressive performance when gaming, streaming videos , or performing other demanding tasks.

Huawei is reportedly upgrading its satellite connectivity technology on the Mate 70. While competitors are struggling to offer satellite SMS messaging and calls, Huawei has already introduced "satellite photo sending" on the Pura 70. Chinese users are eagerly anticipating a groundbreaking new feature on the Mate 70.

Even more exciting are the new AI (artificial intelligence) features on the Huawei Mate 70. In a promotional video, Huawei revealed how AI can use smart gestures to make everyday activities more convenient. Huawei calls the "grip and release" gesture for controlling the phone as amazing as "magic."

In another video, Huawei demonstrates how AI integration into cameras will deliver unique experiences such as searching for and capturing desired moments in complex environments, merging multiple photos from various contexts into one...

Furthermore, Huawei piqued users' curiosity with its AI-powered privacy protection capabilities in a short video depicting a girl in an elevator with a box of flowers. When someone tried to peek into the box, the flowers automatically drooped. The same thing happened when a man tried to peek into her book; it automatically closed and slipped into her handbag.
