Fueling the revolutionary fire for generations

On the afternoon of November 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City solemnly organized a delegation to offer incense at the Memorial Site of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam and the Stele House of the Alliance of National, Democratic and Peace Forces of Vietnam in Tay Ninh province.

On behalf of the Standing Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city reviewed the heroic tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front .

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, this revolutionary base marked a deep period of activity of intellectuals, businessmen, and revolutionary activists in all the cities of the South; ready to accept hardships, wholeheartedly following the Party. They promoted patriotism, fighting for independence, freedom, and national unification.

“Our generation, especially the young people, is extremely grateful, respectful, and admires the dedication of those steadfast examples,” said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nang - former Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City shared that this was a meaningful trip, an opportunity for everyone to review the tradition of the Vietnam National United Front - Vietnam Fatherland Front. The Front has had a process of striving, gathering forces, contributing to gaining independence and freedom for us today.

“Today, the organizing committee has gathered many classes of people here, contributing to fueling the revolutionary fire, and transmitting the will to the generations. With that tradition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has mobilized all classes of people to carry out emulation movements and build a developed country,” Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nang emphasized.

Along with the whole country and the city's political system during the nearly 40 years of renovation, the role and position of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front in the political system in particular and society in general have been increasingly enhanced through proactively initiating and building action programs to concretize the policies of the City Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front in a practical and effective manner, closely following the practical situation of the city.

The campaigns and emulation movements launched and implemented by the City Front have focused on creating consensus, promoting the role of member organizations, emulating creative labor of the people and the joint efforts of the whole community to participate in economic development, solving social problems, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and sustainable poverty reduction.
