Traveling across Vietnam, wherever there is seafood fishing, there are unique culinary traditions. Just a steaming bowl of oyster porridge in O Loan Lagoon, Phu Yen; a generous bowl of shrimp, squid, and fish cake noodle soup in Phu Quoc Island; or crispy crab spring rolls in Hai Phong are enough to remind diners of the land where they left their footprints.
These dishes are delicious not only because of the fresh ingredients provided by nature, but also because of the skillful hands and love for their homeland of the people from the coastal region.
